You’ve asked…we answer.

What We Provide

Space for you to celebrate! From Friday at noon, all day and night Saturday, through Sunday at noon, you’ll have access to all the spaces of Redbud Farm Events. You’re welcome to setup on Friday, stay overnight on Friday and Saturday (up to 6 guests), and have guests arrive and leave on Saturday at any time.

What You Decide

Everything else! One of the joys of Redbud Farm—you aren’t bound to any pre-determined vendor lists! The food, the drinks, the seating, the setup, the decor are yours to make happen however you’d like.

Where is Redbud Farms?

Hamilton, MI. 150 miles from Chicago, 185 miles from Detroit, 35 miles from Grand Rapids. Our local lakeside tourist towns include Saugatuck/Douglas and Holland—both less than 20 minutes away!

What is the maximum number of guests I can have?

Overall capacity at Redbud Farm is 150 guests. Seated indoor capacity in the Barn is approximately 120 (with rectangular tables) and approximately 100 (with round tables). There is plenty of outdoor space at Redbud. Confirm with your rental company the seating capacity of a tent rental.

Do you require a deposit?

We ask for a non-refundable 20% deposit ($440). The remaining payment is due one week prior to your event.

What about restrooms?

The Garden House has a full bathroom, and the Granary has ‘camping’ facilities. Consider renting portable facilities for your event.

When do we have access to the property?

The property is entirely yours from Friday at noon until Sunday at noon.

Can I get deliveries to Redbud Farms?

Vendors are welcome to deliver to the property starting on Thursday. However, we cannot guarantee someone will be available to sign, and we cannot assume responsibility for any items. We also do not have cold storage for food items.

What about the weather?

Mother nature is unpredictable, and best laid plans can sometimes go awry. Concerning temperature—all of our spaces are unheated. When choosing a date, please consider the unpredictable temperatures of early spring and late autumn. Concerning rain—we always encourage our guests to have a ‘precipitation plan’. Our barn space can certainly double as a backup plan for outdoor ceremonies, and if you’re renting a tent, consider the optional side walls. Unfortunately, due to the preparation involved, we cannot offer weather-related refunds or discounts.

Do you do non-wedding events?

Absolutely! We’ve celebrated birthdays, showered new mothers, and hosted bachelor and bachelorette parties. Check out our ‘Beyond Weddings’ page.
